Multisite architecture

One of Drupal’s best features is the ability to host multiple sites from the same set of core files. In the class we will demonstrate a best-practice approach to architecting and deploying an infrastructure that is reliable and reduces the amount of maintenance required.

This course will demonstrate several great tools and Drupal features that can be used to reduce the workload of maintaining several websites. First, we will demonstrate how Drupal serves websites and allows for module and theme sharing and exclusion. We will show examples of using Drush to install and manipulate sites from the command line. Several other tools will be demonstrated to help attendees get a good frame of reference.
