Drupal in a Day serves as a prerequisite to Acquia's Drupal Site Building course. In this one-day course, participants will gain a solid introduction to Drupal 7, its features, its concepts and the idea of modules. Participants will also learn about Drupal terminology and how Drupal sites are constructed.
This two-day course teaches participants how to create easy-to-configure, responsive and smart layouts in Drupal. Participants will also learn some of the best approaches, techniques and practices for controlling the look, feel & theme of their site, and optimising management, speed & security of their site.

Prerequisites:
An understanding of a Content Management System is helpful. Experience using and building websites using systems such as Wordpress, Joomla!, or HTML and CSS.
Because this class will be an overview and not an in-depth course, it is perfect for people who are on the fence about using Drupal or who are looking for a hands-on introduction.
