About this course

This course is for those responsible for administering content on a Drupal site. Participants will see how to navigate the general set up of a generic Drupal site as it is 'out of the box' and compare that to the training site which will have several customizations. This will include custom roles, content types, taxonomy (category) systems.

Event details

This course explains how to handle the general parameters of a standard Drupal site. Attendees will also discover the different content administration customization available in Drupal (personalized roles, content types, or taxonomy for categories).

A selection of modules will be introduced (personalized dashboard, custom views, alternative administration modules and themes, moderation modules, multimedia modules, etc) proving their capacity to significantly improve the user experience for complex sites.

As soon as the attendees will be familiar with Drupal generic language for site administration and content management, they will be able to handle any kind of Drupal site.

The course will be given in French or English, depending on the participants' choice.
