About this course

Getting content from other sources into a Drupal site can be a tricky and time-consuming task. Luckily, there are a number of powerful ways to move content from a variety of formats into Drupal, and this workshop will teach you the ins-and-outs of two of the more widely-used methods: the Feeds module and the Migrate module.

Why "Tentative"?

Need to get your organization's existing content into a new Drupal site? Is your content in spreadsheets or a relational database and need to migrate it into Drupal? If so, join Mike Anello (ultimike) from DrupalEasy for this 8-hour split workshop that will teach you the basics on migrating content into Drupal.

This workshop is split into two, 4-hour sessions presented over two days to help prevent "training fatigue" commonly found with full-day workshops. Presented online, students will also have indefinite access to our class materials, including PDFs and screencasts covering the key lessons from this workshop.

This workshop takes place from 1-5pm EDT on July 22 and 23, 2014.
